Dear Parents,
The A+ Abacus Center will be closed for the 2017 summer break 7/1 - 8/13.
Class will resume on 8/14 (Monday). If you have any questions or inquiries, please contact Ms. Hsieh after 8/5.
The New Beginner Classes will take place on 9/12 (Tuesday) from 5:00pm-6:15pm and on 9/16 (Saturday) from 2:00pm-3:15pm. Please visit the Beginner Abacus Class page for more information.

Dear Parents,
A. Congratulations to all the students who participated in the Global Cup. This year we had 10 students from A + Abacus attend the competition. Erik Wang and Brent Kong earned the Grand Champion title! Those who placed Grand Champion or First place will receive a scholarship from A+ Abacus. Orion Abacus Association will also give the Grand Champions scholarships! Please see below for the list of participants and a link to the pictures:
B. In 2017, A+ Abacus Center will open a new beginner class in February. This new class is scheduled from 5:00 pm to 6:15 pm starting 2/9/2017. Please forward this information to your friends whom might be interested in our new class. If interested, please go to aplusabacus.com and fill out an inquiry form. After you have submit the form, you will receive a confirmation email. Thank you!
C. This year, Orion Abacus Association will be holding an Assessment Test on April 30, 2017 (Sunday). The location has been changed from previous years to Culture Center of TECO (Milpitas). The address is: 100 S. Milpitas Blvd. Milpitas, CA 95035
The award ceremony will take place May 21, 2017 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Please reserve these dates on your calendar!
D. The World City Cup is coming up. Are you ready? It will be held in Hsinchu City, Taiwan from July 22-24, 2017. Registration will be open until May 30, 2017. If you are interested please see m (Ms. Hsieh) for the registration form. If anyone will be traveling to Taiwan or Asia during the summer, this is a perfect opportunity for any age and any level student to participate in a worldwide competition. Recently, China Airlines has been promoting cheap airplane tickets to Taiwan that will end on January 31. Please see the attachment for more information on the World City Cup.
